COvid-19 Update 5-15-20

May 15, 2020 Dear Residents, Families, and Friends of Premier Rehab and Healthcare, I hope this letter finds you healthy & safe! As we continue to navigate through life with COVID-19, we wish to remain transparent with you regarding our current situation.  In transparency the facility currently has 33 residents in the facility that are positive for COVID-19, all of which have recovered and no longer require the use of transmission-based precautions. Unfortunately, we suffered the loss of 18 residents to the Covid-19 virus.  We will continue to track these numbers and inform you of the changes as they occur.  We continue to work closely with the Vermont Department of Health, the CDC, and UVMMC to ensure we are adhering to the most up to date guidance as it relates to the management of this virus.  Everyone is being vigilant with PPE usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing. We know how hard it is, especially during this pandemic to not be able to visit and see your loved ones. Any family that would like to arrange for a facetime phone call can either contact the social services department of leave a voice mail at 802-419-2412. As always, we thank you for your continued support and pray that everyone stays safe and well. Sincerely, Administration
