Premier Rehab and Healthcare Rehab & Healthcare located in Burlington, VT, is pleased to announce that for the second time in three years they have completed a “deficiency-free” health survey from the State of Vermont Agency of Human Services.
A deficiency-free survey means that Premier Rehab and Healthcare met all of the state’s safety and quality standards. Nursing facilities are evaluated by state officials following an extensive, unannounced survey, which is conducted on-site at a center over several days. Inspectors judge a facility’s performance on safety measures, quality of care, medication management, hygiene, food service and much more.
Deficiency-free surveys are incredibly difficult to achieve. According to data published by the CMS in 2015, just 10.2 percent of nursing facilities nationwide earned a deficiency-free designation.
